Our Journey Started in 2007

Questor Insurance was conceived by founder Andrew Lawrence after he had left a previous insurance business specialising in Travel Insurance. "As a founder and shareholder I had developed a strong desire to create and run a business where technology and customer service would be at the core along with the very highest standards of ethics and integrity and where the customer was at the heart of everything that we do."

Questor Insurance started as a one-man business, Andrew obtained regulatory permissions, built the first application and obtained insurance facilities from White Horse Insurance DAC in four months. Questor sold its first policy on the 4th August 2007 and has sold at least one policy every day since then even during the COVID crisis of 2020/2021 that is {} days of continuous trading.

"Along the way I have met some fabulous customers and we have growing our policy count to more than 400K policies per year sold across the world in partnership with our sister company Riverside Malta."

• 1 Millionth policy sold

• Appointed as a Lloyd's Coverholder

• 10th Year of Trading

• Change of name to Riverside Underwriting Limited

• Brexit solution live on 1st February
• Launched with Fortegra European Insurance Company

• Short term fully comprehensive motor insurance for campervan and motor home insurance fully launched
