At a prime beachfront location in the tranquil coastal town of Hua Hin, Thailand, Marriott International's flagship brand Marriott Hotels is launching a new Resort & Spa.
Combining easy access to the town centre and 8.7 acres of land with state of the art facilities, the complex will feature a mix of Thai Colonial and contemporary design features in all of its 322 rooms.
Catering for the modern traveller
Continuing the group's “Marriott Modern” design philosophy, the hotel has been designed to cater for today's modern tourists. Mixing impressive interior design themes with accessibility, Marriot Hotels hope that this new hotel will create a bespoke appeal.
The aptly named Great Room demonstrates Marriott's' famous brand of hospitality and deluxe rooms offer panoramic views of the sea along with direct access to an attractive lagoon shaped swimming pool.
The beach front Kid's Club offers extensive activities for children at its beach front location with a pool, tree house and water slide while an adults-only pool provides a child-free alternative.
The first of many
Area Vice President-Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia & Japan, Karl Hudson, said: “We are delighted to open our doors and welcome guests to Hua Hin’s first Marriott Hotels branded hotel.
“Marriott International signed agreements with TCC Land Asset World in 2013 to manage seven new hotels across Thailand. Three properties are scheduled to open this year and Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa is the first to debut.”
Increasing the city's hotel accommodation
Both local and international travellers frequent Hua Hin and demand from Thai residents is also strong. Situated only 200km from Bangkok, the potential of Hua Hin and the variety of attractions and activities that it offers can't be underestimated. The city's accommodation will increase to 2,341 rooms with the opening of the Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa.
