EasyJet has introduced two new flights from Bristol Airport to the Greek island of Zante and the Sicilian beauty hotspot of Catania.
Holidaymakers looking to top up their tans will be pleased to hear that the new flights to Zante will begin taking place this summer with prices starting at £32.34 per person.
Flights to Catania from Bristol are also set to start at £32.34 per person with tickets now available for booking via the low-fare airline’s website.
These prices are based on a one way trip and two people booking at the same time.
A growing portfolio
UK Commercial Manager at easyJet, Ali Gayward, commented that the airline has “grown considerably” in Bristol since opening operations at the airport 13 years ago.
He explained that as a company they are “absolutely delighted” to add these two new summer destinations to their “growing portfolio”.
The airline is determined to provide even greater choice to passengers in the South West and is confident that these new flight routes will be a “great hit” amongst British holidaymakers who want a touch of summer sun.
Popular choices for British holidaymakers
With Zante well known for its “stunning beaches and lively nightlife”, it is the perfect holiday destination he added before noting Catania’s reputation as the second largest city in Sicily.
He explained that its location – “set in the foothills of Mount Etna” – is a strong attraction for holidaymakers as it provides “a breathtaking backdrop for tourists”.
Aviation Director at Bristol Airport, Shaun Browne, also commented on the new routes being offered by easyJet and expressed the organisation’s delight at getting two great new locations on their list.
Bristol Airport is easyJet’s largest base outside London and the airline now serves a total of 53 destinations – more than any other airline.
Seven of these 53 destinations were announced in April 2015.
If you are looking to visit Zante of Catania, it is important to ensure you have European travel insurance in advance
