It’s time to forget the likes of Majorca and Tenerife and bathe in the delights of the Greek islands after they’ve been named the best in Europe, according to a recent report by Trivago.

Denise Bartlett from Trivago commented that it is interesting to see that while the Spanish islands are the most popular holiday destination for travelling Brits, it is the Greek ones that are the highest quality.
She also noted that this research presents the typical British holidaymaker with alternative locations to travel to rather than the “typical summer resorts”.
The top ten islands ranked were:
If you’re thinking of travelling to one of the top ten islands this year, it’s important to book European travel insurance in advance.
