The world’s largest travel site, Tripadvisor, has launched its “Neighbourhoods” feature to help users explore foreign towns and popular tourist destinations on their travels.
This brand new feature will allow users to get the most out of holidays to some of the most popular destinations and towns around the world, making it even easier to find recommended restaurants, hotels and attractions.
Tripadvisor’s new feature is currently available in the following cities – although the travel company does plan to expand this list further in the next few months:
Explore new places
The new feature will allow Brits and other travellers make the most out of their visit to foreign climes with Senior Vice President of Trip Advisor Adam Medros explaining how it works:
“TripAdvisor’s new Neighbourhoods feature combines millions of traveller insights along with curated content to help travellers explore the distinctive parts of some of the world’s most travelled cities.”
Medros commented that the service will allow travellers to fully immerse themselves in the local culture and is accessible on both desktops and mobile devices to offer complete accessibility.
Through the feature, users will be able to research their holiday destinations and look up comments of the areas they intend to visit in order to plan their travels more effectively.
They will also have access to neighbourhoods where locals live – showing a number of photos of the area – so that they can explore it in more detail.
The Tripadvisor neighbourhood feature is currently available in English Language Tripadvisor sites only.
