Travel bargains are welcome at any time of the year and according to the latest research, Prague is the best destination to help holidaymakers get off to a money saving start in 2015.
According to the latest Post Office Holiday Money Report, the capital of the Czech Republic emerged as the cheapest destination when examining 46 holiday destinations and resorts for the cost of eight typical holiday items.
Adding up the cost of the eight items below, the research revealed that holidaymakers' will only be set back a total of £35.29 - a figure that is more than four times cheaper than the total for China Town Singapore (£149.65) - the most expensive destination for UK travellers.

The research also revealed that the continued strength of the pound means Brits abroad will get more bang for their buck when compared to 12 months ago. The biggest increases were made against the following countries:
Andrew Brown of Post Office Travel Money said:
“There is currently little difference in resort costs between the Algarve, Sunny Beach and the Costa del Sol, which are cheapest in Europe, but keep an eye on Crete and Cyprus where falls in the cost of eating out make these islands better value than ever before.”
