Low-cost Irish airline Ryanair has announced a series of new routes from Glasgow and Edinburgh as part of its summer 2015 schedule.
Edinburgh airport will see the addition of 1 new route to London Stansted departing three times a day; while there will be an increased flight frequency on routes to Barcelona, Pisa and Rome. Ryanair’s Glasgow summer 2015 schedule will see the addition of routes to Bydgoszcz, Carcassonne, Chania, Derry, Dublin, London Stansted, Riga, Warsaw Modlin and Wroclaw departing from Glasgow International.
To celebrate the launch of the new Glasgow and Edinburgh summer 2015 schedule the airline is releasing 100,000 seats for sale across its European network. The flights are valid for travel in September, October and November and start from £19.99. Travellers who are keen to organise an autumn or winter getaway on the continent for less can snap up flights under the deal until midnight tonight (September 1st).
In Edinburgh, Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said: “Ryanair is pleased to be the first airline in Scotland to launch its 2015 summer schedule, with one new Edinburgh route to London Stansted and increased frequencies on 3 other routes, with a total of 32 exciting summer routes to choose from, which will deliver almost 2m customers p.a. at Edinburgh Airport.
