Naked photographs of Prince Harry have emerged following the prince’s wild holiday with friends to the hedonistic US city of Las Vegas.
The cheeky young royal has been papped in the nude whilst taking part in a game of ‘strip billiard’s at the MGM Grand hotel. The 27-year-old, who is third in line to the throne, is pictured wearing nothing but a watch and a thin necklace, holding a naked young woman who is clutching a pool cue.
Since he has been partying in Las Vegas, booking enquires to the city have increased by 30% according to tour operator Virgin. The ‘Prince Harry effect’ has spiked interest in the notorious gambling region. As a result, the travel operator is now offering 10% discount on packages to the city.
Virgin also boasts of sending a ‘care package’ to Wynn hotel, where Prince Harry was staying. This package contains an energy drink, factor 50 suncream, sunglasses, a free billiard lesson and swimming trunks, as the images clearly show that he has misplaced his.
For most holidaymakers, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, yet Prince Harry’s antics can be seen by the entire world after images of his naked body were published online by an American website. It’s believed that the images were taken in a hotel suite at the Wynn complex, where it cost up to £5,000 a night to stay.
St James’s Palace contacted the Press Complaints Commission (PCC) to prevent the photographs being published in the British press. Palace aides are playing down the prince’s wild Las Vegas trip, claiming he was ‘letting off steam.”
While travel insurance can’t protect you from a global media storm over some embarrassing holiday snaps, it could give you peace of mind over lost or stolen goods, including clothes.
