Dubai launches Go City Card

Dubai is now the fourth most popular travel destination in the world according to the eighth annual Mastercard Global Destinations Cities Index.

Boasting the world’s tallest tower, the biggest shopping mall on the planet and largest man-made marina, it's no surprise that Dubai attracts so many long-haul visitors. The city and emirate has been growing its reputation for fine food and larger than life attractions for years and now it is launching its newest digital attraction, the Go City Card.

Multi-attraction passes

Go City Card already sells multi-attraction passes to some of America's most popular tourist destinations in cities including New York City, Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington DC.

On the international scene it is also established in London and the launch in Dubai is set to give the card an even higher profile.

Go City Cards are available to buy online and are then instantly delivered to a Smartphone. They can also be purchased through select re-sellers world-wide.

Dubai Card

The new Go Dubai Card will offer visitors discounts of up to 55% on many of the top attractions and gives a simplified user experience which means tickets for each attraction don't have to be bought individually.

Attractions taking part in the Go Dubai Card scheme include Hop-On Hop-Off Big Bus Dubai Tour, Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis the Palm, At the Top/Burj Khalifa and Dhow Dinner Cruise Dubai Creek. The mobile app also includes a digital guidebook with information on the different attractions.

The card has three different options. The Dubai All-Inclusive Pass starts at $135 per person for a one-day pass and includes 25 attractions while the Dubai Explorer Pass offers savings up to 55% on three, five, or seven attractions/tours from more than 25 available options and is valid for 30 days.

The Dubai Build Your Own Pass offers more than 30 available attractions and guarantees instant savings of up to 20% when two or more attractions are added.

If you’re thinking of travelling abroad this year, be sure to organise your Long-Haul Travel Insurance in advance.
