Brit frequent flyers set to enjoy new improved loyalty perks with Norwegian

NorwegianOver 300,000 Brits stand to benefit from a new and improved range of incentives thanks to a loyalty programme from the low-cost airline Norwegian.

2014's Low Cost Airline of the Year announced that from the start of December, Brit members of its Norwegian Reward scheme can take advantage of incentives such as free baggage allowances, free fast-track at check-in, free seat reservations and a 2% CashPoint boost.

Cheaper flights

The new enhanced benefits for members of Norwegian Reward are dependent on the number of flights taken by them in any one year. The more flights a member takes across a 12 month period, the more chances for them to take advantage of one of the four new rewards on offer.

Already one of the most popular loyalty schemes for air passengers, Norwegian Reward gives members the chance to receive discounts on all Norwegian flights by earning CashPoints.

After every sixth flight that Brit members fly they will receive a new reward and earn CashPoints on all tickets. Each reward is valid for a year.

Customer loyalty

Aimed at keeping and rewarding loyal customers of the airline, members can now reap the benefits of flying with Norwegian even more easily than before.

“By introducing rewards, our members have more flexibility and can easily keep costs to a minimum that will improve their overall travel experience with Norwegian” commented Brede Huser, Vice President of Norwegian Reward.

Describing the loyalty programme as " unlike any other loyalty programme in the skies", Huser went on to explain that the incentives on offer for passengers were an easy way to show the airline's appreciation of its loyal members and to ensure that it retained their future custom.

The rewards are in addition to Norwegian's commitment to the highest standards of customer service whilst also acknowledging the importance of customer loyalty for future international growth.

Huser stated: “Norwegian Reward members have taken 20% more flights over the past year as we have enhanced the scheme including extending the amount of time members can claim CashPoints.”
