Overseas Festivals In 2015
Festivals are live in the moment events, something which everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. The past few years, festivals have been the new craze that people of all ages demand to do during the summer months, and why wouldn’t they be? Being part of the thousands of people that get to witness your favourite band, Dj or artist perform, making new friends, being part of a temporary new world and having the time of your life! Even the grubby parts such as putting on your favourite pair of wellies for them to be completely covered in mud, using public toilets and showers, living in a tent for the weekend; Memories is what you will make, euphoric ones of that. So below you will find our suggestions for the biggest festivals around the world that we think are worth every penny!
One of the most popular prominent global festivals to ever be conceived for dance music, originating in the city of Boom in Belgium. An ironic location name for a music festival! Internationally recognised artists and Dj’s headline this event permitting it to be a largely communicated event for those who love the seamless selection of EDM tracks. From the likes of Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & like Mike, to David Guetta and Avicii, along with over 180,000 people attending, this festival is not one to be missed! A full madness pass which allows you to attend the Friday, Saturday and Sunday starts at £250 without camping, however a day’s pass starts at just £106, but if you want the real deal, flights, accommodation and tickets then you need to get your hands on a global journey travel package which can be pretty pricey, your best bet is to look on international ticket websites to save you some pennies.
If you don’t recognise the name, then you have been living under a rock for the past 10 years. Models, Dj’s, Millionaires, Celebrities, rappers from all around the world not only perform but attend this major festival. It’s a chance to showcase yourself with how you dress, how you respond to the music, how you make the most of the experience. Every April the internet will be bombarded with who wore what at Coachella, who appeared, who didn’t, who performed, you name it those two weekends will be the most talked about festivals on the internet. Held in Indio California, this arts and music festival is made up of two weekends every year. The biggest Artists and bands appear at this festival, to name a few; Rihanna, Kanye West, The Killers, and Paul McCartney the list is endless. However because Coachella is based in LA, a ticket can cost over $500 for just one weekend, which is nothing to all the over-privileged people that attend, hence being a put off to many people that haven’t already been. But don’t let that discourage you from what it could be. When you’re dancing along to your favourite artist with the gazillion new friends you have made, you will realise that it’s more than just the turn up, the ‘I’ve experienced it’, the Instagram pictures; it’s about the communion at that moment in time, and it’s exhilarating. You can time out from the madness with more than enough places to eat, drink, chill or even amuse yourself with the fairground rides, and pop up shops, but you best bring plenty of pennies because this is where the bulk of your money is spent!!
