How Questor Insurance is Regulated
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) are a company limited by guarantee created
by The Financial Services Market Act 2000 to regulate the financial services industry
in the United Kingdom. The financial services industry funds the FSA through
an annual levy. The Management Board of the FSA are appointed by the Treasury
which sets overall policy. The day-to-day operation of the FSA is managed
by the Executive. The FSA is accountable to Parliament through the Treasury.
Questor is authorised and regulated by the FSA which will closely monitor our activities
through six monthly returns, visits and targetted projects. Our Auditors are under
an obligation to inform the FSA if we fail to meet the financial requirements laid
down under the supervision regime.
